Part 1 of Daddy School is complete

Sophia graduated from the first part of Daddy School today.  So far our Daddy School consisted of going over one letter of the alphabet each day.  We would do a couple of activity books that focused on each letter.  Plus we worked on the sound each letter makes as well as how to write it.  Then we would spend some time on doing things like songs and artwork that featured the letter of the day.

Before we started working on the alphabet Sophie knew some of her letters, but probably not more than a dozen.  Today I used some flash cards to see what letters we needed to go over again and the only ones she got wrong were I,M, N, Q, and W.  Not too bad for a three year old!

I’m not sure exactly what I’m going to cover next.  Probably just reinforce the alphabet.  Maybe I’ll start working on the lower case letters.  Either way, I just figured I’d post a quick entry since we passed the first phase of Daddy School!
