Fun exploring the Children’s Museum of Phoenix

On Sunday we met up with Aunt Becky, Uncle Hart, and Riley and toured the Children’s Museum of Phoenix.  As far as children’s museums go, it was pretty typical.  Of course all of the kids had a blast!

They had lots of things for kids to climb around on.  They had the usual kid sized grocery store stocked with fake groceries.  One unique exhibit they had was a large portion of a room full of hanging pool noodles.  It was pretty neat to walk through hundreds of hanging pool noodles!

It was nice to get out of the house and do something besides going to a park.  Unfortunately we haven’t had a whole lot of time to get out and do very much exploring since we’ve been here.  Beth has been putting in a ton of hours at work.  And when she isn’t working she has been working very hard on her school work.

She is trying to complete a one year Bachelors of Nursing program in six months.  In Florida it wasn’t hard to balance school and work because she worked so few hours.  But here its been a completely different story.  I feel bad for her because she gets so little free time.  But it will all be worth it in the end.

If all goes according to plan, she will be done with school in mid-March.  Hopefully then we will be able to spend more time exploring.  For now we are sticking pretty close to home.

Looks like fun! Sawyer seems to be really concentrating on his food. Beth seems very interested in the contents of that food can!!
